Seleski's physical mass seems to be increasing. Seleski, he quickly tears off his bandages to discover that his body has miraculously healed itself! Attempting to find out just what happened to Dr. Seleski, he is studied by the Nuclear Research Council. Exhibiting strange new powers, the group seeks to test the extreme strength Dr.

But with his newfound God-like powers, has Dr. Seleski's humanity all but vanished? After exhibiting his godlike strength, Dr.

Seleski reveals to those studying him that he feels lonely being quarantined away from the rest of humanity. Tired of his quarantine, Dr.

Seleski sees a story on the news about a fire. Believing he can put his new powers to good use, Dr.

Seleski transports himself to the scene of the fire. Rushing in and saving a mother and her child, he becomes a hero in the eyes of the public. Later, news of the anniversary of the Chernobyl incident comes to Dr. Seleski's attention, he takes it upon himself to dismantle "unsafe" nuclear facilities around the world.

But when the NRC decides that Dr. Seleski is a threat, a line in the sand is drawn. Seleski's actions are seen as destructive as the news reports of his. Seleski comes to an understanding of the true nature of his powers, as well as the true nature of reality itself.

Seleski is lured into a trap. Attacked by the NRC using special weapons designed to. Seriously weakened him and he retreats to the "Edge" once more.

Seeking to regain his strength, he unleashes some nuclear energy and transports himself to space and opens up a wormhole to feed on a small star. Returning to Earth fully powered.
