Seleski transports himself to the scene of the fire. Rushing in and saving a mother and her child, he becomes a hero in the eyes of the public. Later, news of the anniversary of the Chernobyl incident comes to Dr. Seleski's attention, he takes it upon himself to dismantle "unsafe" nuclear facilities around the world.
But when the NRC decides that Dr. Seleski is a threat, a line in the sand is drawn. Seleski's actions are seen as destructive as the news reports of his. Seleski comes to an understanding of the true nature of his powers, as well as the true nature of reality itself.
