Zdzislaw Beksinski BRAND NEW SET OF 3 BOOKS painting / photo / drawing
THIS IS FULL COLLECTION OF BIG HARDCOVER ALBUMS 3 x 144 PAGES!!! 2nd edition, very large heavy volume with superb full-page illustrations in colour, text in English and Polish. The album is an unusual collection of Zdzislaw Beksinski's works. It contain 155 images printed on high quality paper. It comprises 1970's drawings, paintings of all creative periods, and computer collages, which prove how important to Beksinski is the use of a computer with all its possibilities.
An important part of this album is contributed by two collections which make up the very personal selection of their owners, the artist's wife Zofia, and his son Tomasz. After their owners' deaths these works were put into the Sanok History Museum. The introductions by a distingue is hed tenor Wieslaw Ochman, the artist's friend, and by Wieslaw Banach, the director of the Sanok History Museum, are completed by archive photographs from a private collection by Zdzislaw Beksinski, which haven't been published until now. " A genius inpainting , " I said, whose works were fascinating in the 20th centuryand will go on being fascinating in the 21st and later centuries.Inaddition he's an ordinary person but mysterious like his painting. His paintingcan't be translated into the language of reality, because there's some sort ofmysticism about it, in the sense of the impact it makes on the imagination. Beksinski has his mysteries, an explanation of which might perhaps be found inhis paintings, but personal references are of no significance in the receptionof this art. What counts is the impression it makes, and anyone who hasBeksinski's work will certainly never forget it...
